As part of Microsoft's Mission “To empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more”, Microsoft Arabia continues its commitment to Open Source by supporting Saudi developers to innovate as they go through their Digital Transformation journey.
Saudi Arabia has witnessed huge growth in Open-Source contribution where it jumped to the 3rd highest country in growth of the number of contributions made to Open Source projects. We are launching The Saudi Innovation Center with a focus on Open Source and is a collaboration between Microsoft and Tuwaiq Academy. This collaboration aims to power innovation through best available Open- Source technologies. This will be achieved by skilling, modernizing, and building technologies for the developer community, by the developer community.
